Seagrass Designs

Introduction

Welcome to Seagrass Designs. I live with my family on the beautiful Isle of Wight, designing greetings cards, prints, tea towels and calendars. Photography has been a passion since childhood and I particularly enjoy capturing elements of the coast. When I met my photographer husband he encouraged me to sell some of my images as greetings cards. Seagrass Designs was subsequently launched from my kitchen table in 2013. After a successful first year I added typography to my work and transferred some of the most popular designs onto prints, tea towels and calendars. In 2017, I used my graphic designs skills to create a unique range of contemporary greetings cards and prints, and have several exciting new product ideas in the pipeline. I feel very fortunate to be able to work from home and do what I love.

Design, manufacture, and the environment

All my products have been designed and printed in the UK. The digital printing companies that I use have an extensive waste recycling process in place. They are also certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®), an international organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world's forests and ensuring that the eco-system within it is treated with the care and respect it deserves.
